The Present:

As semiconductor manufacturing, gas chromatography operation, and other specialized fields advance technologically, the processes involved demand ever-cleaner environments and surfaces. This demand for precision has increased the need for ultra-pure hydrogen, and in turn the need for a low-cost, reliable method of separating hydrogen. Power+Energy is dedicated to the design and manufacture of state-of-the-art hydrogen purification and separation systems at low costs, doing things better and more efficiently in every aspect of our operations.

The Past:
President and Chief Scientist Dr. Peter R. Bossard founded Power & Energy, Inc. in early 1993. That July, Power+Energy shipped its first hydrogen purifier. Since then, over 700 hydrogen purifiers have been shipped to customers in North America, Western Europe, and the Pacific Rim. P+E's ultra-pure hydrogen diffusion processes have been described as “enabling technologies,” and have been selected for use by a major US utility involved in commercializing a fuel cell reformer.

The Future:
Over the past few years Power+Energy has greatly expanded its product line and services, and has created new employment opportunities in the region. To continue our growth and expansion, Power+Energy has formed several strategic alliances and cooperative relationships domestically and internationally to further research, develop, market and distribute current and future products and ventures for the coming hydrogen economy.
