Power+Energy Machinist
Power+Energy is currently hiring skilled machinists, toolmakers, and CNC operators. Our ideal candidate:
- Has a high school diploma.
- Is capable of communicating effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Has at least four years' experience in prototype machining and short-run production machining.
- Has at least five years' experience using manual lathes, mills, and CNC milling/turning machines.
- Is familiar with and has experience with close-tolerance machining, machine setup procedures, and precise measuring tools.
- Has experience with grinding and/or re-sharpening cutting tools.
- Can operate all standard machining tools and machine parts as needed.
- Can read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Is familiar with CNC G and M codes.
The job itself will involve:
- Tooling design and fabrication to assist production.
- Thorough and meticulous attention to detail.
- Developing CNC programs that reliably and predictably machine products.
